i almost thought about writing a good review, but the receptionists acted like they were too busy to help. rooms had strange beeping noises all night and definitely no one offered any compensation for the inconvenience, how rude! oh, and the air conditioning remote was nowhere to be found, simply unacceptable!

The Sicilian cunzato bread at La Boulangerie Artisan was a game changer, and I discovered a delightful restaurant, BarRada, just a short stroll away. Spacious room with good facilities made the stay worthwhile.

At 7 am, the air-conditioning unit decided to start beeping like it was auditioning for a horror film, leaving me sleep-deprived. A bit of a hassle not having the remote or clear instructions to tackle it.

Clean sheets and a small kitchenette area in the room make for a functional space. Fast Wi-Fi and adequate privacy provided a decent stay.

No elevator in the building required navigating stairs with luggage. Worn furniture and noticeable noise from adjoining rooms diminished comfort. A lack of basic supplies like toilet paper upon check-in and insufficient cleaning during the stay was concerning because the room remained dusty, and the bathroom needed attention.

What shines and what doesn’t

Convenient location with easy access to multiple restaurants, and well-equipped rooms including a microwave and kettle. Cleanliness was up to par! Absolutely enjoyed the comfortable amenities!

Sensitivity of walls led to noisy neighbors disrupting my peace. Customer service was lacking, with unhelpful staff and unreliable Wi-Fi, which was frustrating during my stay.

The room was clean and I loved having cooking facilities too! It with all the essential stuff for a few days. Had a lovely chat with Stefane about the local patisserie up the street, that place was a real gem! They had drinking water, tea, and coffee ready in the room, just a nice touch after a long day.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but the quality made it acceptable.

Decent option for a temporary stay in Kyiv with reasonable value. The location is great, just a short walk to major sights. If you need a simple place to crash, this will work for you.
